The BEST Healthy Summer Smoothie

With the hot summer weather coming in, there’s nothing better than a cold refreshing smoothie…

What You’ll Need:

  • Milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
  • Ice (if no frozen fruit is used)
  • Fruit (I used blueberries and strawberries)
  • Spinach (or another green)
  • Oats
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Chia Seeds
  • Coconut Flakes
  • Peanut Butter

I started by adding the ice and milk into the blender.

Then I added the spinach and oats (since they are the toughest to blend up). You’ll have to add milk accordingly once blended to get the proper texture.SMOOTHIE4

This should be what the smoothie looks like so far! (I promise this will taste better than it looks!)SMOOTHIE5

After it is blended to a smooth consistency, I added all of the other ingredients (fruit, seeds, peanut butter, coconut,etc.) Blend once more to mix everything evenly together.

Pour your smoothie into a pretty glass, top with coconut flakes, and you’re done! SMOOTHIE7.jpg
